The data used to create this map was gathered from January 2026-April
2026. This map shows the organizations and services around the North East Wisconsin Region
which support immigrants and refugees as they resettle in the area.
Each sector shows what is available and reflects the perspectives of
Newcomers as well as organizations.
A "Newcomer" is a person or family who has moved to the region or
the United States in the past 5-10 years and is learning and adjusting
to the main languages and cultures of our region.

Comfort and Belonging
Many respondents shared feelings of comfort and joy within their faith communities (44%, 8 of 18 responses).
Others expressed satisfaction with the frequency of religious gatherings (17%, 3 of 18) and valued having a place to worship together (17%, 3 of 18).
Faith in Practice
Supporting others and sharing were highlighted as important aspects of faith for some participants (22%, 4 of 18).
Specific faith traditions and beliefs mentioned included Catholic, United Methodist, and Reformation Church, as well as values centered on supporting immigrants and respecting all beliefs.
Spiritual Growth and Participation
One participant shared, “I would like more opportunities to connect with others in my faith and participate in programs that support spiritual growth and community.”
About 33% (6 of 18) of respondents stated they are generally pleased with their current faith practices, and 6% (1 of 18) reported not being interested in religion.
